We like to bring Lean practitioners together. We know many practitioners would like to hear from others who are succeeding and experiencing challenges in their own Lean Management implementation. By introducing Lean Learning Clusters, we hope to facilitate the sharing of Lean experiences and learning.
What is a cluster?
A Lean Learning Cluster is a cost effective way for small and medium sized companies to receive support for their Lean improvement work from peers and an experienced Lean facilitator. A group of engaged Lean practitioners come together to share Lean learning on a quarterly basis. The Clusters are facilitated by the Lean Institute Africa, and take place on site at a host company. Each meeting is a full day, comprising a report back, a Gemba walk, presentation and facilitated discussion.

Who should join a Cluster?
People working in companies and organisations that have started their Lean transformation journey and are looking for regular input and inspiration from others.
What does it cost?
The cost is R20 000 (excl. VAT) per organisation for four quarterly meetings. Organisations are encouraged to send a minimum of two people and can send a maximum of four to each meeting. Each company will also be required to host a meeting, provide a training room/space, catering and leading a Gemba walk of their own facility.
